The Carolina Panthers have brought back defensive tackle Sione Fua and placed offensive guard Garry Williams on injured reserve with a left knee injury after he tore his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments. Fua is a former third-round draft pick who was cut during the final major roster cutdown. Fua played in 24 games with 12 starts over the past two seasons with the Panthers.
