The Panthers have finally added a veteran to the secondary to help fill a void left by the spate of injuries suffered in last weeks game against Buffalo. According to a tweet by Albert Breer, Drayton Florence is coming back to Carolina. Florence was among Carolina's final roster cuts before the season started when the Panthers had to reduce the roster from 75 to 53 players, and when he was released there were a lot of fans questioning the decision due to the lack of veteran experience in the secondary. Now, the Panthers had little choice than to reach out and attempt to bring him back since several of their cornerbacks are suffering from injuries: Josh Thomas has a concussion, Josh Norman has a knee/thigh injury and DJ Moore has a knee injury, leaving Captain Munnerlyn as the only healthy cornerback on the roster with any real game experience.
