There is much uncertainty surrounding the future of the Panthers' organization, as head coach John Fox simmers on the hot seat but one thing to count on, sources say, is having WLB Thomas Davis on the team next season. Davis is done for the year after tearing his ACL in Week Nine, but he was arguably the team's best defensive player for the first eight weeks of the season and was well on his way to earning a Pro Bowl bid before sustaining the injury. The fifth-year veteran will become a restricted free agent in March, barring a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, and Carolina will issue him a high tender to dissuade teams from issuing him an offer sheet.
