Don’t look now, but the Carolina Panthers are likely to sign another quarterback. Jimmy Clausen (concussion) and Brian St. Pierre (shoulder soreness) are both being evaluated, so they are working to sign Keith Null, according to the Gaston Gazette. Null worked out for the team two weeks ago but did not sign. The Rams cut Null before the 2010 season and he was picked-up by the Jacksonville Jaguars, who subsequently released him. Null will likely be signed to the practice squad, but as St. Pierre can tell you, that doesn’t mean starting him is out of the question for the 1-9 Panthers. Source: Football News Now
