X-rays are negative, smith will miss the preseason, but should be ready for week one

Still said he was in a lot of pain. I think he's going for an MRI tomorrow...

lol, I read how it says he should miss the preseason, but I saw no guarantees that he would be ready for week 1. The reporter is most likely waiting for results from the MRI before making any assumptions that could be wrong. Thanks for proving my point. lol

It would be huge if smith missed week 1.We could just focus on the run cause muss and dwayne jarret wouldent scare the eagles dbs.

actually quite the opposite. I read the link that you quoted as saying that he would be ready for week 1, there was nothing there that said that at all. Using common sense and knowledge of sports, players that get hurt immediately get xrays, followed by an MRI usually the next day. Then a more conclusive determination can be made, it's been that way for years. You seemed to have the inside info declaring that he would be ready for week 1 based on an assumption, I imagine. You can make assumptions, I'll just wait for test results and the doctor's evaluation of those to see what's going to happen.
