The New Orleans Saints' 34-3 win against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium was dominating. That's not how Panthers receiver Steve Smith described it. "Pretty pathetic," Smith said. "That would be the only thing I could say. No explanations, no excuses." Smith, who has been a Saints killer in the past, had one catch in the loss that dropped the Panthers to 1-7, and it came with 29 seconds remaining. Carolina had 68 net passing yards (39 yards lost in sacks) and used three quarterbacks in the game. So, Smith was asked, is this season worse than 2001, when the teams was 1-15? "I plead the fifth," he said. "I have respect for those guys that I played with and I haven't finished a season with these guys."

I can't blame him. He's the best player on the team and he gets the ball once? Not quite sure how many times they did try to get it to him but one catch? Can't be a lot...

Who the hell would be happy with this team? This team is the joke of the NFL. It is also the worst team in the league. What's that you say? The Bills are 0-8? The Bills may not have won yet this season, but they have taken games down to the wire against really good teams. The only team that the Panthers have beaten is the crapty San Francisco 49ers. The best thing the 49ers have done all season was make Troy smith the starter.. They have a backup who wouldn't be a 4th string on any other team.
