Carolina Panthers receiver Steve Smith says he was "just having fun" and it was a "freak accident" when broke his left arm playing flag football. Smith called into Charlotte radio station WFNZ-AM on Thursday, saying he put his team and himself in a bad situation by playing in an adult flag football league at a YMCA on Sunday. While Smith says he won't play flag football again until he's retired, he took shots at those who criticized him for doing it, saying football is not about the money for him.
