The Charlotte Observer reports Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith was limited in practice Wednesday and was seen wearing a brace on his right knee in the locker room. Carolina hosts New Orleans Week 2. Head coach Ron Rivera said Smith took a shot in Sunday's game against the Bucs and wore the brace as a precaution, but added Smith would "without a doubt" play Week 2. Source: CBSSports
Would love that with smith on my fantasy team but dont think it will happen you guys have no where to go but up on defense right?
Hell freaking no. We can give up 500 passing yards, 200 rushing yards and let them hang 60 on us. Do I think it will happen? I hope to hell not. I certainly hope the defense took the whipping personally and an affront to their manhood and come out and shut the Panthers down. But their run game is rough on us. We have trouble with power runners and they have two good ones. I am not sure how this defense will pan out. I don't do fantasy football but I would bet against the saints defense until they prove to me they can stop someone consistently.
He always gave a us a rough time. Hate to admit it but he is a very good receiver even though he is getting up there in age.
