Frank Edgerly's dreams are coming to fruition. Edgerly said on Tuesday he has resigned as Red Bank Catholic's High School football coach and accepted a position as a pro personnel scout for the New England Patriots. He said he has signed a three-year contract. "For me, this was a dream come true," said Edgerly, who was the coach at his scholastic alma mater for the last 10 seasons. "Anyone that knows me knows I've been banging on this door for longer than I care to admit. The NFL has always been my passion."
