Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session to attend a pretrial hearing in Nebraska. The Patriots listed Dennard's absence on Wednesday as non-injury related. The hearing precedes Dennard's trial (for an April 21, 2012 arrest), which will begin on Feb. 11. Otherwise, the Patriots had nearly perfect attendance at the start of Thursday's practice, with tight end Rob Gronkowski (broken forearm) the only player not spotted.
