Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson has been doing a lot of talking this week, but Patriots cornerback Aqib Talib has not been listening. Earlier this week, despite averaging 54.6 receiving yards per game against New England throughout his career, Johnson proclaimed that the Patriots do not have “anybody to stop me.†The comment generated plenty of headlines and talk-show fodder, but Talib, New England’s top corner, remained insulated from the talk. “I don’t watch NFL Network or read the newspapers during the season,†Talib said. “I’m a basketball fan, so my TV pretty much stays on NBA TV and I don’t really read what nobody says.†Now that he’s aware of what has been said, Talib admitted that the trash-talk could provide a little extra motivation Sunday when the Pats travel to Buffalo. “Of course,†he said. “But I didn’t hear it so I didn’t really read into it. I guess it is what it is.†Source: MassLive.com
