The New England Patriots and second-round pick CB Darius Butler have agreed to terms on a four-year contract, Butler's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, announced on his Twitter page. Butler performed well during New England's OTA practices. He will compete for playing time this season as a kick returner and as a reserve at cornerback. Source: Scout.com
Nice, I like this kid alot and he'll see quite a bit of time at corner I think. I actually like the Pats CB's this year Leigh Bodden Jonathan Wilhite Terrence Wheatley Darius Butler Shawn Springs Lots of young tallent, I like it
butler has a lot of promise, hopefully he'll make an impact this season. I'm also excited about wilhite and wheatley as well. from what I heard all 3 of them had good ota's
We've got a good blend of experience and youth at CB. Interesting to see who rises to the top this year. Butler has a lot of potential, and glad to see we've got this one signed.
