    Patriots CB Devin McCourty was named the AFC special Teams Player of the Week for Week Seven.

    McCourty returned a kickoff 104 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter of the Patriots’ 29-26 win over the Jets.

    He had the kickoff TD, but all I remember him for was allowing the Jets to tie it up because of his fumble. Had the Pats not won he probably would have named Special Teams Dog of the Week.
