Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes is recovering well a few weeks removed from surgery on his knee, according to the Boston Herald. Spikes missed eight games last season and reportedly underwent surgery a couple of weeks ago to clean out some damaged cartilage. The linebacker said he was trying to get the knee stronger and did not know yet if he would be ready for the start of training camp. â€It’s going good. I’m just re-habbing, trying to get better, staying on top of it,†Spikes said. â€I had surgery a couple weeks ago. This was like my first surgery ever.
