Wilfork recently said that he missed all of the Patriots OTA's because he was upset with the lack of progress in contract negotiations, but in Wilfork's defense - the OTA's were optional - and he didn't have to show up to any of them. The Patriots Nose Tackle did show up today as the team began its mandatory mini-camp. It was reported on Monday by the Boston Globe that he could have lost up to $500,000 if he didn't show. He's currently in the final year of his six-year rookie deal, but he had said all along - despite that - when it came time to strap on the pads for real - he'd be there - and today he kept his word, happy or not.
