New England Patriots guard Logan Mankins was fined $10,000 for his actions during last Sunday's game against the Steelers. The Herald reported Friday that Mankins was docked for an illegal clip which resulted in a penalty during the first quarter of a 55-31 victory. Good take on this. I guess I didn't even think about all the fines from penalties. They are getting out of hand.
Troy Polamalu hit flagged for a hit on Gronk but avoided the fine... But yeah...seems like penalties are now carrying fines.
