Patriots wide receiver Torry Holt has been placed on injured reserve with what is being described as a knee injury, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. He had been held out of practice the past few days. An 11-year veteran, it's possible that his career could be over. A sad turn of events for Holt, who was on the Patriots' roster bubble. The owner of eight-straight 1,000 yard seasons between 2000 and 2007, he's got a great case for the Hall of Fame. Source: RotoTimes.com
Yeah I think this is it for Torry. A shame really that his degenerative knee condition has hampered the end of his career because for the majority he was dominant, even when the rest of the team was faultering. No doubt he's a Hall of Famer when his time comes.
