New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady addressed reporters after Mondays training camp practice and answered several questions about his contract status. “I’ve always been privileged to play for Coach Belichick, who I’ve always said is the best coach in the history of the league. And Mr. Kraft, I have a great relationship with him. I’m not into playing games. I just want to come out here and do the best I can do. You know, whether you make $1 playing, or you make millions of dollars like we do make, I just really enjoy playing quarterback for this team. I have since the day I stepped on the field. It’s something I relish, and every year is an opportunity. You don’t get these opportunities back. I want to play for another 10 years hopefully. Each year is an opportunity for us to accomplish something pretty special. I don’t want anything to ever get in the way of that.â€

Sums up what I've been saying all along, that the contract wasn't even an issue. Only one saying it was writes crap for ESPN, and goes by the name of Chris Mortenson. A fantasy article writen from "knowledge" supposedly obtained by mystery friends of Tom Brady on other teams. A prime example of how writers will down right lie just to have something to write about relying on "secret sources" vs facts. Hopefully Mortenson can get a job woth National Inquirer where he belongs. It sure isn't as a sports writer.
