Tom Brady knows there was a lot of debate last week about whether he should play in the preseason following the scare he suffered last Wednesday with his minor left knee injury but Brady feels that if he's healthy enough to play, he will, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reports.

Brady and said the extent of his injury was overblown. It was the team’s second-to-last practice of the preseason that was open to the public and media. Starting today, practices are closed for the rest of the season.

“If that was a Wednesday or Thursday practice during the regular season, you’d probably never hear anything about it,â€￾ Brady said. “I felt bad it caused more of a media story than it actually was worth of. We were just trying to be smart.â€￾

The knee injury certainly didn’t slow Brady down on Friday against the Buccaneers, when he completed his first 11 passes before finally misfiring on his last attempt.

In other words, you'll see him on the injury report for the rest of the season with this injury...
