Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is feeling healthy and plans to remain in the NFL for a very long time to come. "(Playing 10 more seasons) is a big goal of mine, a very big goal. I want to play until I'm 41. And if I get to that point and still feel good, I'll keep playing. I mean, what the hell else am I going to do? I don't like anything else. People say, 'What will you do if you don't play football?' Why would I even think of doing anything else? What would I do instead of run out in front of 80,000 people and command 52 guys and be around guys I consider brothers and be one of the real gladiators? Why would I ever want to do anything else? It's so hard to think of anything that would match what I do: Fly to the moon? Jump out of planes? Bungee-jump off cliffs? None of that s--- matters to me. I want to play this game I love, be with my wife and son, and enjoy life." Source: Sports Illustrated
Man, it's amazing to me how many people hate Tom Brady...I mean I get it, everything he touches turns to gold...but the guy is a football player. GOOD TO HAVE YOU BACK TOM TERRIFIC!!
I think people respect Brady but dislike the arrogance he has shown lately. I think when he first came on the scene he was well-liked and over time he's developed this arrogance to him that rubs a lot of people the wrong way...
...explain this arrogance I keep hearing about Brady, we don't see it here. He's always saying and doing the right thing when he talks...sometimes he just doesn't talk, especially when it has to do with personal crap like his family...he just wont say anything. I don't see arrogance in him, people just hate him because they're sick of the superbowls, and the perfect hot girlfriend, seeing him tv all the time...I have to admit Im pretty jealous, the guys got the best life. I think he handles it all pretty good.
Damn it, i hope his leg gives out this year and someone just takes it out lol. I usually wouldn't wish injury on a player but i hate him.
I've never thought of Brady as arrogant, even though I know that part of him is. Arrogance is needed in a winner. He knows how talented he is. What can be perceived as arrogance could just be truth that he realizes.
One example of the top of my head... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7r-0mzvQHXw]YouTube - Tom Brady Scoffs at 17 Points[/ame]
Thats true almost any QB would say the same thing. Its not like he was gonna say yea plax is right were only gonna score 17 lol.
Without the dopey laugh and the "okay" at the end. But in the end, Plax was right... I'm just saying what I've heard from speaking with people why they dislike Brady.
I feel he has a lot of self confidence, which is always perceived to be arrogance by some. I know he's very well liked by his teamates, and their wifes:icon_cheesygrin:. I really like his dad. Chatted with him for quite a while after a game.
