Patriots Release CB Terrence Wheatley

    The New England Patriots have released cornerback Terrence Wheatley. The team is expected to activate guard Logan Mankins for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Wheatly was drafted by the Patriots in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft and played college football at Colorado.
