Patriots Shopping Two-Time Pro Bowl LB Adalius Thomas?

The mystery behind Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas and his being on the inactive list for Sunday's game didn't get any clearer yesterday. Thomas was a healthy scratch for the first time since his rookie season with the Ravens in 2000, missing the 59-0 beating of the Titans at Gillette Stadium. He wasn't on the injury report all week leading to the game and was not at the stadium Sunday, according to a league source.

Cowboys should trade for this guy and cut Bobby Carpenter.

 

yep, weird situation and we haven't heard anything at all about why he's in the doghouse.

 

I don't know about cutting Bobby Carpenter.. He's not amazing, but he's done his job IMO. But trade for him? I agree. There's no reason to Patriots should even want him out of there..

 

I want to know what the deal is... something smells.

 

I would guess either drugs or roids. I have not heard anything just trying to come up with some thing.

 

If this is the case, the Giants should look into the possibility

 

I heard Belichik said it was strictly performance related.
