There is a growing belief that Brandon Lloyd’s presence on the New England roster could make last season’s failed deep-threat receiver, Chad Ochocinco, expendable. Ochocinco is 34, failed to grasp the playbook and made just 15 receptions for 276 yards. The Patriots could surely spend the $3 million he is slated to make in more productive ways, which has led to speculation that he will be released prior to the season. However, Ochocinco doesn’t see it that way. agree with all. the guy is a nobody now and doesn't seem to realize it. and $200k per catch isn't a good investment for the pats. even the lions won't be paying $200k per catch under megatron's new contract, if he and stafford both stay healthy. maybe the pats need to go to ocho and tell him to take the vet minimum?
