The Patriots’ injury list may add yet another key name this week: special teams captain Matthew Slater.

Slater has a broken bone in his hand that has put his availability for Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay into question, a league source said.

A Pro Bowler in each of the past two seasons (when he did not miss a game), Slater is an integral part of the Patriots’ special teams units.

Losing him would be another blow to a team that is already without receiver Danny Amendola and tight end Rob Gronkowski.

From the looks of things on Thursday, a lot of receivers on the Patriots had "broken" hands.
