Patriots WR Wes Welker Might Be Dealing With Injury All Year?

    Wes Welker indicated he felt some improvement in his ailing knee yesterday. But whether that upgrade was good enough for the Patriots wide receiver to play tomorrow against the Baltimore Ravens won’t likely be determined until just before gametime. Judging by Welker’s remarks, it sounds like the team’s medical staff is trying to get the injury to the point where it won’t become a hindrance all year. “Being a football player, you always want to get out there and play,†said Welker. “The main thing is being smart, and make sure you’re ready for the long haul. That’s the key thing of making sure I’m ready to go for the year,†he said. “It’s a long season. That’s what we’re working toward.â€

    That doesn't bode well for every assclown NFL Pundit who basically guaranteed the Pats would win the Super Bowl before the season even started - Not to say that the Pats are screwed but it won't be the cake walk that alot of talking heads thought it would be for them.
