    SoDev Don't tase me, bro!

League spokesman Brian McCarthy said : [Harvin] was excused. Players who are excused are expected to make up the material presented. That may involve attendance at the following years symposium. Harvin is concerned about how people will perceive his absence because of the question marks that surrounded his character entering the NFL draft in April.

    bergybones Taking donations :)

If Harvin is sincerely bothered by his missing this seminar then that shows alot towards his character.

If he's that worried he should push to make up the info ASAP privately with the commish and speakers of his choice. Even if Godell says no, which he probably would, Harvins work ethic and character would take a big positive hit.

Would he have Ricky Williams and Randy Moss speak, and then smoke some herb after?

At the time I couldn't see the logic in the Vikings taking him, and the dossier is building up to justify my thoughts.

I get that all Rooks have to attend, but what good is it going to do him to attend next year? (All Gator allegiance aside) Can't the NFL give him a crash course before the year starts?
