With Ndamukung Suh signed, sealed and delivered in Detroit, Russell Okung and C.J. Spiller are now the last men standing (on the outside) among first-round picks. Okung, the No. 6 overall pick by the Seahawks, remains unsigned although the No. 5 and No. 7 picks have reached deals. That fact led Seahawks coach Pete Carroll to recently call out Okung's agents, and he is by no means hiding his disappointment of not having the rookie in camp. "It's a pretty clear-cut situation," Carroll told The Seattle Times. "We're very open and very strong about trying to get this thing done, and each day it's gone by, Russell falls farther behind and it's hurting him immensely. Hopefully, we'll be able to get something done here, but it's very clear-cut, and it does not need to be a difficult situation right here." Certainly a few missed practices don't require the panic button, but a sense of urgency certainly exists in Seattle to finally replace Walter Jones and put an end to the revolving door at left tackle.
