    Peppers or Freeney>Smith
    Owens or Harrison or Holt>Ward

    He is such a jackass

I agree with you about Ward. Smith is one of the best 3-4 DE in the NFL and has been for awhile. What is expected from a 3-4 DE and a 4-3 DE is just so different it is hard to compare the two. I would also disagree with Vrabel while I do not know who I would put in his place right off I have never thought of Vrabel as being one of the best. Do not get me wrong he is a good LB but I just do not think of him as an all-time great.

    He's running a 4-4 defense lawl

    SoDev Don't tase me, bro!

wtf, no Strahan? Screw you Peter.

Michael Strahan was the 2001 Defensive Player of the Year when he broke the single-season sack record with 22.5 (heck you, Brett Favre!). In this decade Strahan went to four Pro Bowls, was named All-Pro twice, played in two Super Bowls with one championship, recorded 88 of his career 141 sacks and had more than 60 tackles three times.

agreed on all counts. i'm not sure who annointed king a football expert. he's really not very smart about the sport.

The DT's don't look right to me either.

Peter King... Lord what can I say about Peter King - the dude's credibility has been garbage as long as I've been 'in the know', no reason for Pete to change it up now.

And its not a bad team

A few changes, I would prolly take Holt and TO and Harrison over Moss and Ward, but that is very, very, very debateable. All 5 of those guys make very compelling cases. And Im not a fan of Williams as an All Decade DT, I would take Hampton over him. I am a bit perplexed by Vrable. Ware has only played half a decade and he has more sacks then Vrable does in his career, and Ware might not even be a good choice

i dont understand why people are so pissed....EVERYONE would have a different team.

manning vs brady is an ongoing battle, id pick manning but thats just me.

hampton>all NTs of this decade, Aaron smith is the best 34DE ive ever seen....the LB are debatable, as well as eveything else....no need to get your panties in a bunch. Ward does not belong on this list....hes a well rounded wr, thats why hes on it....not the best wr by any means, but having a homerun like moss and a blocker/chain mover like ward makes sense. im probably the biggest steeler fan i know, but i wouldnt put ward on my list, im no homer

Reading his reasoning for the Vrable pick is why King fails as a writer

    Basicly Kings way of saying

Truth is Seymore is the only patriot defender with the exception of Law that would really have a place. And thats the Patriot way. Not a team of star's. King often reach's like this with his "pets". Something i really noticed in him when Parcels (who is definatly a King pet) was our coach. Alot of favoritism towards Parcells and Dallas from King. IMO King writes decent stuff, you may not agree with it, but he knows how to write something you want to read, but thats a big drawback with him

You must be too young to have seen Bruce

  19. K Train

    K Train Do You Honeycutt?

i am too young, honestly i am no homer and i think you know that about me but my 34 dline would be seymour, hampton, smith....2 of those are steelers but i dont care i feel like they are the best....one is a patriot who i usually hate so that proves my point.

king is a good writer, exactly, you may not agree with everything, i sure as hell dont but the every day fan loves his crap. people that are fans enough to post on a forum like this are not your everyday fan, most of you guys are knowledgeable about the sport more so than most....most of you

  20. Jihad Joe

Bruce got 200 sacks as a 3/4 DE.....but he was unique. One of the greatest defensive players in NFL history

Cant argue with your DL. In fact i dont see anyone who could make a case against any of those three.
