San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams and punt returner Trindon Holliday have been selected as the AFC's top players for Week 2 of the NFL season. Rivers, who threw for 419 yards on 36-of-47 passing with three touchdowns -- all to Eddie Royal, was 4-of-5 for 48 yards on the Chargers' final drive before Nick Novak booted through a go-ahead 46-yard field goal with seven seconds left to lift San Diego past Philadelphia, 33-30, on Sunday. Williams totaled 4 1/2 sacks and six tackled in the Bills' 24-23 win over the Carolina Panthers. His sack total was the most in a game since Aldon Smith tallied 5 1/2 on Nov. 19, 2012. Holliday returned four punts for 121 yards, which included an 81-yard touchdown in Denver's 41-23 triumph over the New York Giants. Source: Sports Network
