Rumors are swirling that Cubs manager Lou Piniella may call it quits after next season and that current minor league skipper (and former Cubs great 2B) Ryne Sandberg might replace him. I guess this season has been to much for 'Sweet' Lou. I can't say that I blame him. It might be about that time for him anyway.
Honestly, whatelse is there left for Lou to accomplish in the game of baseball? He's managed some good teams, he's managed some bad teams. Honestly, it's probably time for Lou to go now and probably get back into broadcasting.
