Longtime Broncos kicker Jason Elam has decided to retire and will sign a one-day contract with Denver to end his career with the team. Elam, a three-time Pro Bowler who is sixth in NFL history with 1,983 points scored, will announce his retirement at a 4 p.m. ET news conference in Denver on Wednesday.
