Longtime Broncos kicker Jason Elam has decided to retire and will sign a one-day contract with Denver to end his career with the team. Elam, a three-time Pro Bowler who is sixth in NFL history with 1,983 points scored, will announce his retirement at a 4 p.m. ET news conference in Denver on Wednesday. Elam, 40, played the past two seasons for the Falcons, who cut him on Dec. 1. Source: USA Today
