Former Giants receiver Plaxico Burress, who has a residence in Miami, has told people he would love to join the Dolphins if his legal problems are resolved. The Jets and Buccaneers are reportedly interested. Burress will appear in court next month and faces the possibility of a 3 year sentence for carrying an unlicensed firearm. Source: Miami Herald
i'd love to have Plax he's a great WR, and his incident was really an unlucky incident. I bet he isn't the only 'gansta' in the NFL to carry a gun.

I think whoever signs Burress is going to be very happy. The guys got Pro-bowl talent...sure he gets injured but so do a lot of players and a lot of times he'll play through the injury...so he shot himself in the leg. He hasn't missed that much time in his career due to injurry - something like 12 games over 9 seasons? Anquan Boldin's missed more than that over...what 6 seasons? It's not like he killed anyone drunk driving or murdered a bunch of dogs...
