so, i know that if two teams tie at the end of the year that are eligable for the playoffs they have a one game play-in. so what happens if by chance there's a four way tie in the NL this year ? cards 87-75 pirates 87-75 phils 87-75 dodgers 87-75 do these four teams play a two round play-in to get into the play-in against the braves ?
That's a good question. That would be crazy if it happens, and the turnaround would be killer for those teams. THey'd have to have some sort of 'playoff' for that. before the wild-card game. Meaning the NL Wild-card game COULD be pushed back a day or two? Going to be an interesting run the next couple of weeks.
yeah it would be great ratings for baseball having two extra elimination games if that happens but man tough on those teams plus the braves would get to rest their best starter if needed.
