After two preseason games you can generally make a decent guess at who may become sleepers for the upcoming season. Sometimes (or alot of times) you are wrong, but this is where under the radar players begin to emerge. Here are a few guys who could emerge for Dallas this year, probobly not as starters, but as solid subpackage guys - Miles Austin. Had been outstanding prior to hurting his knee, but its not a serious injury. He will miss at least one regular game, so that will hold him back, but Austin has all the "tools" to be a starting WR, he just didnt have the polish. He's looked as if he has worked very hard this offseason, and his game is alot tighter. I wouldnt be shocked to see him the #2 by week 10 - Bobby Carpenter. Carp has had a great TC, and has followed that up in the preseason. Its really hard to project where and how much he will play. He is probobly a better LB than Burnett, but Burnett is an ace Coverage LB, and isnt losing his role. However Carpenter versitlity makes him a player that could be a weapon. With Thomas's age, I would like to see a very liberal split in snaps between him and carpenter during the season -Remi Ayodele-"Baby Akin" has been ipressive this preseason, and is playing near 320 LBS. I was happy with him last season in his limited playing time, forceing a key fumble in the Chicago game. Siavii has been a disapointment, and has pretty much sealed his fate. I dont see Remi starting, but I can see him getting signifigant playing time this year -Courtney Brown. Was invisible the first game, but turned in a solid effort against Denver. If dallas chooses to go the Bradie James route with Williams and pull him out of passing downs, Brown being a former Man CB is a natural fit for that spot considering how often Dallas play's Man with the SS -Deon Anderson. Cricket is a guy you just want on your team. he has some tightening up to do, and needs to be a bit more consitant, but he has a great skill set at FB. Solid blocker, receiver and runner. What makes him a guy you want on your team is that he is also a ST deamon, and probobly our Gunner this year
