Raiders Begin Negotiations With Free Agent OT Jared Gaither

    According to Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network, the Raiders have begun negotiations with free agent OT Jared Gaither, The Raiders would have the tallest bookends in the league if they ended up pairing 6'9" Gaither with 6'9" second-year tackle Jered Veldheer. Coach Hue Jackson is making an effort to change the culture in Oakland. Gaither comes with attitude question marks, though, after a falling out with the Ravens coaching staff.

    Veldheer played LT last year after starting the year at C.
    We need this to happen otherwise it could be a choice between the rookie Barksdale or Kalif Barnes at RT
