Kamerion Wimbley's days as an Oakland Raider could be just about over, says Bill Williamson of ESPN.com. The Raiders would apparently still owe Wimbley $6.5 million guaranteed even if he is released, but would be out from under another $4.5 million that becomes guaranteed if he is still on the Oakland roster by the fifth day of the 2012 league year. With the Raiders looking under the couch cushions to find salary cap money, Wimbley's additional bonus could be on the chop block despite his already hefty guarentee. Source: National Football Post
:laughy32: Idiot should've taken the $6.5M while he had the chance. He may not even make half of that elsewhere...
Yeah for this year...i think. But if he signs a long term deal elsewhere, that $6.5 goes out the window I believe and he won't get anywhere near $6.5 for 2012...
