Rolando McClain has not lived up to his billing on the field for the Oakland Raiders, and he has had a couple of run-ins with the law off it. Now, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, McClain has been given permission by the Raiders to seek a trade if he can find a club that wants him. McClain, a former first-round pick out of the University of Alabama, certainly has talent, but has had more than his share of problems. The Raiders may find a team willing to gamble a low-round pick. Otherwise, McClain might end up getting released. Source: National Football Post
I would definitely get one. Shout out to cpgobrowns for introducing the concept a while back, as far as I knew about it at least.
A trade? I will be surprised if anyone gives up anything for this guy and his contract. I would think This should be a release situation and whichever team picks him up will sign him to a very low risk, no guarantee, short term deal just to see if he can get his life together
