The Raiders brought back five players to their practice squad Monday in addition to two players who were waived by other teams. The returning players are cornerback Chance Casey, wide receiver Greg Jenkins, tight end Brian Leonhardt, guard Lamar Mady and safety Shelton Johnson. All were waived by the Raiders Saturday. Also signed to the practice squad were linebacker Marshall McFadden, who was waived by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and offensive tackle Matt McCants, who spent last season on the practice squad of the New York Giants.
