In Raiders' training camp practice today, recently signed offensive lineman, Andre Gurode was getting reps with the first team at right guard, replacing Mike Brisiel.

Brisiel did not practice today with an undisclosed injury. He played poorly in the Raiders' preseason matchup against the Cowboys on Friday, including getting pushed into the backfield on the third play of the game which resulted in a sack fumble on Matt Flynn.

In a conference call Saturday, Dennis Allen admitted Brisiel had a bad game and said he was not entirely healthy and would be getting today off.

"I don't think he's 100% healthy right now," said Allen. "I don't think he played, obviously, as well as we would have liked and really as well as he would have liked, so I want to try to get him some rest, get him healed back up where he is feeling a little bit better and give him a little bit better opportunity."

This opens the door for Gurode to see what he can do at the position.
