The Oakland Raiders placed tight end David Ausberry on injured reserve prior to Monday's game against the Denver Broncos. Ausberry was expected to be the Raiders' No. 1 tight end in 2013, but had not played since injuring his shoulder during the club's second preseason game on Aug. 16. A seventh-round pick of Oakland in the 2011 draft out of USC, Ausberry had recorded only nine catches for 106 yards over 28 games during his first two NFL seasons. Rookie guard Lamar Mady was promoted from the practice squad to fill the available roster spot. Source: Sports Network
