"I worry about JaMarcus and JaMarcus only." Russell is the black Jeff George to me. Another selfish guy with a lack of leadership skills. The difference is, George actually displayed some ability to play the Quarterback position and at least gave a damn. Russell displays none of that. He also mentioned that he was "embarrassed" when the Raiders benched him. The real embarrassment is watching him playing what he calls football. I bet when he first started playing he thought a quarterback was a refund. Well, the Raiders will not be getting a refund for his "services", $31.5 million guaranteed they gave to this oaf. :icon_rolleyes:

Give each other credit. JR held the Raiders hostage in his contract negotiations. Missed all of training camp and played his first game in December. I think the first game he started was the last game of the season. Regardless, this crap severely goobered his development and that's on him. The Raiders on the other hand were right in the middle of the Lane Kiffin fiasco, ultimately replaced by Cable. Add to that, he's been surrounded by a less than average team headed by the ultimate rodweed, AD. All told, it's just a mess that cannot be resolved until JR is traded or cut....IMO.
