Well, Oakland running back Justin Fargas thinks he might have seen it before, kind of. Fargas told Sacramento’s KHTK radio that some on the team think the bird was perhaps the spirit of former Raider Marquis Cooper, who drowned in March during a fishing trip in the Golf of Mexico, which also claimed the life of former Detroit Lions defensive end Corey Smith and former University of South Florida football player William Bleakley. “It kind of gives you a different perspective on things,†Fargas said. “Yeah it was definitely a strange event seeing that bird flying out there.
