After sustaining an apparent helmet-to-helmet hit in practice Tuesday, Raiders running back Mike Goodson had to be taken from the field on a stretcher and he was taken to a local hospital in an ambulance, according to various reports on the scene. According to one report, linebacker Philip Wheeler met Goodson head-on during a pass across the middle, and Goodson stayed on the turf. No further information has been released, though reporters tweeted that they saw Goodson moving his legs. Goodson was traded from the Panthers to Oakland in exchange for offensive lineman Bruce Campbell. He had a solid year for Carolina in 2010, running for 452 yards and three touchdowns on 103 carries while catching 40 passes for 310 yards, but he missed most of last season with a bad hamstring injury.
