Just wanted to make a thread where Raider fans can come and talk raider football during the season.

Well we all know Chaz is out for a month who do you guys think will step up and get his reps. Other than Chaz the other positions will be up for grabs. I think Javon will show up this season and maybe he can showcase himself in Chaz's absense. What did you guys think about DHB's and Murphy's showing in their first game?

I think that Russell needs to work on his deep ball more to utilize DHB. I thought JLH was gonna take over the number one spot after last year, but we'll see. I think that this injury opens up the door for Murphy to establish himself as a legit reciever. The Raiders will continue to run the ball, and have short passes, so I think Miller is still the go-to guy, with Murphy and JLH getting looks on the slants and DHB being the downfield guy. Look for a lot of pass interference calls this year downfield because of DHB.

Yeah i love JLH he's an exciting player and tough. He's the kind of player that if you dont give him the starting job hes gonna take it like he did at the end of last season. I really think Walker is going to be in the Mix this season I heard during his sideline rehabs he looked explosive like his old self. Javon has said he hasnt felt that good since his rookie season but will see i guess. Well DHB and Murphy r starting against the niners I hope they play well. I would love to see DHB get behind the D so those buttholes across the bay shut the heck up. Cant wait for Dre Bly's sorry butt to get burn like in denver.

I really think that Walker will contribute a lot this year, both on and off the field. I wonder if JLH can top his punt return TD total this year, because it was a big boost last year.

Yeah thats what im hoping for i think it might be tougher for JLH to topp it do to the new rule changes. But i think the special will be just as good as last year.

It will be fun to watch how your guys receivers match up against our emerging secondary.

I can't wait for the competition, best of luck to both teams.

well i really hope schilly can bounce back and still have that break out year i was hoping for out of him. we obviously need to utilize zach miller's skills a whole hell of alot more then we did last year. and if dmac can keep some healthy toes i would love to see us use his speed out of hte back field by throwing to him in the flats. also i am hoping to see some Jruss deep balls on target to DHB for big plays and I have always loved JLH and hope we keep using him in the slot. If we get any type of production at all from Javon like we were starting to get last year before he got hurt i will be very happy and hopefully Louis Murphy can shed the FLA WR sucking butt curse and become a solid target. mostly i think we need to pound the rock with Bush

LOL. I only saw the first quarter of the game and Zach Miller looked good, as well as Murphy. We'll see how they do against New Orleans. I think that the third game of the pre-season is the one that shows the most.
