The Oakland Raiders released punter Chris Kluwe on Sunday and waived quarterback Tyler Wilson, their fourth-round draft pick this year. Kluwe said on Twitter that Marquette King has won the Raiders' punting job. "Thanks to everyone at the Raiders for the opportunity this preseason. It was a blast," Kluwe wrote. "[King has] got a bright future with you guys!" "Feel like we both had a pretty strong preseason," the 31-year-old Kluwe added. "No regrets." Wilson was drafted 112th overall out of Arkansas but did not make the 53-man roster. Kluwe signed with the Raiders in May after eight seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. Last season, he averaged 45 yards on 72 punts. He has only been blocked once on 623 career punts. Source: Baltimore Sun
