Raiders Sign PK Swayze Waters

    The Raiders signed placekicker Swayze Waters, according to the transactions page on Raiders.com. Waters, 5-11, 180 pounds out of Alabama-Birmingham, was an emergency fill-in during camp last year for the Detroit Lions because of an injury to Jason Hanson and was eventually replaced by Billy Cundiff. He was also a punter in college, averaging 41.4 yards per punt.

    Maybe it's his brother. Anyway I guess Waters is being brought in as competition, anything other than that is a shock.
