Raiders quarterback Bruce Gradkowski will likely be a restricted free agent but he is not interested in playing the field anymore. In an interview with the Toledo Blade over the weekend, he had this to say: "I plan to be back with the Raiders. I think everything will work out, and I'm looking forward to it. We did a lot of good things this year and I'm looking forward to next season." Bill Williamson of ESPN.com fully expects Oakland to keep Gradkowski and to give him a chance to compete against JaMarcus Russell for the starting job in training camp. Source: ESPN
Maybe the competition won't consider accuracy, attitude or intelligence and will just focus on throwing power? I think thats how Davis chose Russell in the first place.
It'll be a cold day in hell when Al gives up on Jamarcus. Dammit. If he had a clue there wouldn't even be a competiton as Russell would be cut and playing in the CFL. I pray Al gets a clue and dumps him this year to minimize his losses. No CBA could be a wonderful thing for us in this regard if Al had any sense. I can dream, right?:icon_cheesygrin:
Just name Gradkowski the starter right now. Oh wait I forgot, that won't sit well with Russell's lover Al Davis.
i hate to say it this way but until Davis is gone (either forcefully or by death) the raiders are going to be garbage
