for those that live in k.c., nick wright was saying this week that the raiders are going to beat the chargers today, while the chiefs will beat the broncos, therefore making the chiefs vs. chargers match-up next week 'meaningless' ................. his purpose for picking the raiders in today's game was that he thinks the chargers just lose to inferior teams ........ i'm sure he is just trying to figure out a way that the chiefs can still win the division at this point but the chargers are not the same team he saw in week 1 so his theory holds no merit. slowly, week by week, they are correcting their mistakes and fixing their weaknesses. they are playing at a very high level recently and would have to take a tremendous step backwards this week to lose to the raiders. the chargers and chiefs should both win today, making their match-up next week for 'all the marbles'. it may not be what the chiefs fans wanted in december ....... i think many of them thought they would have more seperation at this point in the season, but it's reality.
Hey, if my team wins today...guess what? That's twice as many wins as last year, and way better than ANY non-Chiefs fan thought they would be when predictions were being slung around before the season!! Will I be happy if we end up not winning the division or making the playoffs? NO....but at least I can say my team is moving forward and making great progress. :icon_cheesygrin: And btw, I think the Chargers win today. Hate to say it, but there it is.
