Raiders WR Chaz Schilens Broke His Foot During Practice

David White reports from his Twitter page that Raiders WR Chaz Schilens says he'll play opener "if God does a miracle." Not what fans want to hear from their No. 1 receiver. Chaz broke his foot during practice.

umm ten years is a stretch we made it to the super bowl in the 2002 season and we were the tuck rule away from it the previous year and rich gannon going out in the playoffs to the ravens the year before

 

This sucks for Raiders fans. Every Raiders fan I've seen post for months has been fired up to watch this guy play.

 

yea i have been fired up for him since the end of last year when we started using him dude has great hands and is tough

 

I was looking for him to break out, still could happen, he should almost be back or be back by the time the season is beginning.

It goes along the lines of the disaster that is called the Raiders...starting from Al Davis all the way to the drafting of DHB. It falls right in line with the bad luck that is the Raiders, the bad moves that are the Raiders, the silly contacts that are the Raiders...

Word is Murphy has been the nest thing in Raiders camp...I'd love to see Walker step it up and return to his early form, but there's no indication at all that he will even come close to that.

 

Okay...maybe a stretch, but including those three years, the Raiders have won less than 40% of their games and aside from the 2002 season, the bad luck is there...I don't think you could argue that...

Since the Super Bowl appearance, I don't think they've won over 5 games?
