The St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission today came to terms with the St. Louis Rams on an agreement that would allow the team to play a game in London's Wembley Stadium in the 2012 season. The agreement would allow the Rams to play one of their eight home games there in exchange for giving the CVC greater convention scheduling flexibility during the football season, which is also a busy time for conventions. "St. Louisans will benefit from the arrangements for additional access to the Edward Jones Dome for non-football events which will generate economic activity for hospitality industry businesses for years to come," said CVC President Kitty Ratcliffe. Under the current terms of the lease, the CVC can only book conventions at the Edward Jones Dome for one week each month from August until December. With this agreement the CVC will have two weeks each of those months in 2013, 2014 and 2015. From 2016 until 2025, the end of the lease, the CVC will be able to schedule three extra weeks through those months in addition to the one week each month, Ratcliffe said.

it's really too bad st. louis doesn't support their team as well as they support baseball and hockey. Everyone is in panic mode there because of the lack of enthusiasm about the NFL in that town.

however, jacksonville and oakland are the first priorities to fix (move to another city). St. Louis would be next in line though.
